CDL Practice Test Prep 2026

What this policy covers

This privacy policy explains how the mobile application CDL Practice Test Prep 2026 (the “app”) handles information when you use it. The app is published under the package name com.cdlpracticetest.prep.

The short version

What we do NOT collect

What stays on your device

As you take practice tests, the app stores your best score, most recent score, and number of attempts for each test in a private on-device database so you can track your progress. Your theme preference is stored the same way. This information stays on your phone, is never uploaded by us, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Permissions the app requests

Internet access

The app uses the internet only to serve advertisements (Google AdMob), to process an optional in-app purchase (Google Play Billing), and to send anonymous usage analytics and crash reports through Google Firebase. Your answers and progress are never sent over the network. The app does not request file, storage, location, camera, or contacts permissions.

Advertising — Google AdMob

We monetize the free version of the app with Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following on Google’s servers in order to serve and measure ads:

In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, the app presents a Google-certified consent message (Google’s User Messaging Platform) so you can choose whether ads are personalized, and you can reopen those choices from the app’s Settings screen. You can reset or remove your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings. Google’s use of advertising data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy, and AdMob’s practices are described here: support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.

In-app purchases — Google Play Billing

The app offers an optional one-time purchase to remove ads. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your payment card details. Google processes the transaction under Google’s own terms and privacy policy.

Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)

The app uses Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) to understand how the app is used in aggregate and to detect and fix crashes. For these purposes Google may collect and process on its servers:

This data is used only to improve the app’s stability and experience. It is not used to serve personalized ads, is not sold, and never includes your personal content. Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy, and Firebase’s practices are described here: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. The only parties that receive data are Google AdMob (to provide and measure advertising), Google Firebase (for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting), and Google Play Billing (to process an optional purchase), subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.

Children

The app is a general-audience study tool for adults preparing for a commercial driver’s license and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will respond.

Data retention

Your per-test scores, progress, and theme preference stay on your device only. Uninstalling the app deletes all on-device data. Data held by Google AdMob and Google Play is retained according to Google’s policies.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data on our own servers, there is nothing on our side for you to access, correct, export, or delete. For data Google may hold about your device’s advertising identifier, you can manage your preferences in your device settings or via Google’s ad settings page: adssettings.google.com.

Study material, not the official test

This app provides practice questions for studying, based on the publicly available commercial driver’s license (CDL) manual. It is not the official DMV or state CDL exam, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state Department of Motor Vehicles, the AAMVA, or the FMCSA. Rules and questions can change, so always confirm the current requirements with your state’s official CDL manual and DMV. The app is not a substitute for professional or legal advice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The current version is indicated by the “Last updated” date below. Material changes will be published at this URL before they take effect in the app.
